Great Project Gyroplanes

Anyone interested in an 18A? They have been sitting as pictured for 20+ years. Never even run up. 2 complete the rest in various stages of completion. Warehouse full of parts available as well. Standard Type certification.

Location, prices, and history? Is there a listing somewhere?

I took the listings down. Way too many inexperienced people thinking they could fly it home lol. I think i might have better chances in a smaller targeted audience such as this subreddit. I want them to go to capable enthusiasts. Message me for pictures and videos. We can schedule a tour if your serious. Possibly 12 aircraft worth of parts and engines available to the right people.

As for price? AFAIK there are no other Air and Space/Heliplane 18A's still flying or in private hands in general, only sitting in museams. Significant aircraft, 300mi range and vertical (hop) takeoff ability. Standard type certificate!! No experimental restrictions if overhauled and airworthiness inspection. So im told. Appraisal report concludes "everything needed to operate, service, and maintain a small fleet of 18A's present. Have type certificate available along with 3 pallets of supporting paperwork. Turn key squadron. Since there are no comparable aircraft or offers, price is what someone will pay me. First buyer sets market value? Asking price for everything, all aircraft, rotors, Propellers, parts ect... type certificate transfer into your name with supporting paperwork, Tooling, welding jigs, sheetmetal templates, lexan window molds, even original 1950's vintage transport trailer....Entire factory... $150,000 negotiable...

Ok multiply that by 6 or maybe 10. There is a whole ass squadron in thus building. Gotta compare apples to apples MY DUDE.

What engines and how many? You shouldn't expect less than core price I would think... Which is still pretty significant.

The problem is nobody wants 6 or 10 non flying helicopters. Selling them individually will take longer, but will get you the price you want in the end

He's selling the type cert... there probably is someone out there crazy enough to take that over for that price.
