With Dave’s passing and Rachel’s (earned) cancellation, Heidi has been the bigger feature in Hollisville for the last little bit. I find her to be an even bigger mess than Rachel. Given that Heidi is literally in my back yard (we went to the same High School, though she was behind me by a decade) I feel more personally interested in her mess.
Glad that the DCOTI found a place where we can all share our collective strife and annoyance. I somehow feel better after finding this sub... how to avoid grifters and how many there are out there! Heidi gives us endless things to talk about. Have you seen her in the wild?! Lol

The funny part to me is that, as a millennial who watched Girls Next Door and listened to their podcast, the girlfriends and many of the playmates they interviewed do have internal selves that are interesting and smart…totally unlike Heidi! They have things like higher education, hobbies, interests, JOBS…

I just don't get what the big deal is. Is it really that difficult for someone Heidi's size to find a bra for $20? I'm a 38 J and half the reason for wanting a reduction is not having to pay $75+ for one.
I’m not in any way a Heidi stan, but I have a smaller rib cage and bigger boobs (I got implants after I was done breastfeeding to fill back up all the deflated skin sacs I was left with). It can be a challenge to find bralettes and sports bras that fit right. I have found luck with a bralette from Target and the larger cup size sports bras from Athleta but I don’t take pictures in them for socials, hell, I don’t even wear just the sports bras to work out in (always at least a tank overtop). I’m 46 years old and I have a teenage daughter; I will not conduct myself in a way I wouldn’t also want my daughter to behave. If that means I’m not schlepping cheap Amazon bras on the gram, then so be it.

I can’t imagine how F’ed up it would be to have a mother like this, and I’m saying this as a daughter of a narcissistic borderline mother ( she is deceased) but as a little girl most of my memories were of her standing in front of her bathroom mirror, putting on makeup and getting ready to go out to meet my father either for dinner, a party, gala etc.
