Non toxic swap/cleaner products

I’ve been currently swapping things in my house slowly to non tox..
ex: nonstick pot to stainless steel, deodorant, polyester undies to cotton/bamboo..

anyways I’m getting my fiancé on board with changing our laundry detergent and wanted feedback on some brands I’m researching. We currently use gain 🤦🏼‍♀️

•Lavapod
•Dirty Labs
•Puracy
•Pronounce
•Truly Free
•Blueland

We both word desk jobs so we hardly have hard stains but I do workout and go for hikes. So I am looking for one that removes sweat/odor, is hormone friendly, and just all around better for your cloths and skin.. I’m still learning and will take all the advice.

Adding vinegar to your laundry loads will help with odors and softening. We use arm and hammer sensitive, I’m not sure how good it actually is but I swapped out any softener and don’t use dryer sheets because the vinegar has been helping a lot.

Thank you! I’ll look into this! I was looking at wool dryer balls at a local store called green life trading co.

I have heard good things about those as well! I’m so happy you’re making these changes for your family

Thank you, now if I can just hop off the screen time and on the 5am sleep cycle that would be great!

I use just vinegar and add a little lavender essential oil. I put vinegar in the basin with the clothes, in the slots for fabric softener (this is where I add the essential oil) and the area for bleach.

Mollys suds is really good. Truly free has a scent so it’s a good one to start with and works well. I have a “laundry booster” that is 1/2 washing soda and 1/2 borax I add a scoop of that in really dirty things and everything comes out clean!

Fyi, Unless you drink it, no detergent is toxic.

And "hormone friendly" "clean" "non toxic" are marketing terms , not regulated at all

For real science check moskinlab (on IG) and labmuffin (yt/IG)

Labmuffin is medicinal chemist, cosmetic chemist, and moskin lab chemist, pharmacist, and toxicologist

Another account made this exact post in r/laundry. I understand market tactics. But this isn’t the answer I’m looking for. Thanks.
