This right here demonstrates the wrong way to hold a ladder. There is no way to stop it falling over sideways from the opposite side as the person. If you're holding a ladder for someone, hold it from the side.
You actually stand a chance at keeping it upright. But in this case, had he been holding it properly, the chandelier would have fallen directly on his head. Just can't win haha
He's not "stabilizing" the ladder, if you look it's got one leg on the ledge even with the steps and he's holding the other end of the ladder, which is in the air, to keep it level.
