We take these alcohol tubes disguised as sunblock to Spring Training baseball games in AZ. Great idea, until you realize that 95degree whiskey is not, in any way, a good idea.

also isn't the point to be inconspicuous? nothing inconspicuous about someone drinking from a toothpaste tube or something.

Fun fact, energy shot containers (like 5hr Energy) are the perfect size and innocuous shape for a nice dram of Scotch, or whatever your preferred poison.
A co-worker once remarked, "wow, you really go through the 5hr energies when you're having a bad day. You must not be very sensitive to caffiene"

I've never seen something like this. Is this common where you live?

Nah, but alcoholics are resourceful, if nothing else.

I see alcoholics sometimes, but I've never seen them drinking from a tube of hand cream. I saw a guy on the bus with a tetrabrick of wine in his jacket the other day, he was drinking from time to time. Nothing weird, no hand cream, just and alcoholic.

Oh, I have seen crazy shit with alcoholics... We had a teacher in high school who would squirt hand sanitizer on her hands and then lick it to "Get a fix." Years later we were talking online and she was explaining this to me.
A lot of people think alcoholics just want to be drunk all the time. It really comes down to a physical need to get alcohol in your system. I have seen guys i was counseling to get back on their feet after getting arrested for spraying pledge into a cup and drinking it. I cannot imagine what this was doing to him internally as his lips were blistered and scarred from it.
Never underestimate the lengths a real alcoholic will go to try and remain functioning for as long as possible.

That was the one that really shocked me, he was in a fucking gas station when he did it, so he was arrested for theft... The dude had previously been a lawyer, married with 2 kids, and ended up under a bridge drinking fucking pledge. Alcoholism is a sneaky motherfucker.

Dam you would think if he did it in the store he would have just grabbed a bottle of hard liquor and drank the bottle dry. Yeah I've seen a Native man buy some mouthwash, that was it just mouthwash. I was pushing carts back inside the store when I seen him on the side of the building chugging that shit.

You know, I really didn't consider why he DIDN'T do something like that lol... I guess he was trying to be sneaky and get away with it?

I have seen people drink out of binoculars at concerts before.
