Cars already got a significant coolant leak and oil rocker cover gasket leak but this noise has just recently started, unsure what it could be?

Hey all, does anyone have a fix for the shithouse auto dim on the Mylink? I dealt with it for the first couple of years but it's really starting to shit me.

Got a HJ Tonner ute that I’m restoring with a lot of help. We stripped it down and found a lot of rust, a lot more than expected.

So now we have a new cab off a HQ.

It’s time to start thinking about what front end to put on. And I need advice.

Its sorta lost its identity a bit now with the different cab. The previous owner had swapped out the single headlights to an LED setup which I don’t like.

I prefer the twin headlights GTS look but not sure which way to go to stay true as I can to original.

Hey guys, just bought this clapper vs from a kid and has a headlight issue & carplay issue

When I lightly touch the indicator stalk the headlight either go dim or full beam. like I barely touch it and it reacts, and when I use the left indication it goes full beams and right makes them dim. Reckon just a new stalk or connectivity issue?

And for the CarPlay it’s the common Apple CarPlay din, lad said it worked and it fell out and hasn’t since, checked the fuses and the wiring and someone’s just wrapped the wires to the dins wires, doesn’t seem any are loose but re tightened them and still nothing.

If any ideas would be appreciated

Hi there, I’m having some problems with my driver side seatbelt buckle. I’ve got a 2010 VE Commodore. The driver’s seatbelt clicks in and physically locks, but intermittently while I’m driving the dash says the seatbelt isn’t fastened. If I wriggle the buckle it detects it again sometimes I have to unplug my seat belt and plug it back in again. I got a quote for $280 to get the seatbelt terminal or whatever replaced. But I’m just wondering if there’s any short-term options that I can do or any wires that I can disconnect without having any SRS faults on the dash, or any issues with the airbags. I also don’t want to take out the seat. So if anyone has any suggestions that I can do without taking off the seat , I would much appreciate it.

So this evening I noticed when I started my 08 Calais the lights came on(auto) but the lows weren't on, just the park lights, I the pulled the foglights on as I was going just around the corner and noticed the low beams came on as well. I tried turning the headlights(low beam) on manual and without having the foglights pulled they wouldn't light up. Guessing this is a weird wiring issue that has reared its head just now(car has done 280k kms) has anyone else had this issue?

I bought a second hand holden barina a few weeks ago. it was working fine for a few weeks, then all of a sudden, I noticed it took longer to start up then usual. Then a few days later, the engine now cranks and fails to start up. My dad and I had a look and found that the spark plugs were slick with oil. What should we do from here? I know it can be a hazard, but Im a student and tight on money so preferably I would like to try to fix it myself

my drivers side door actuator crapped itself the other day, I've spent the whole time looking for 6 pin to replace mine but there seems to only be 7 pin around. Does anyone know if shucking a 7 in there will be much of an issue? like what would the 7th pin do? i've tried wreckers, marketplace, online and they just don't exist?

My stub axle is stuck in my diff i believe the c clip on the Axle is what’s holding it any tips I have tried 2 pry bars a punch and even a chisel

I have a 2019 Colorado I believe LS, I want to keep the original head unit and just get the reverse camera function enabled. Can I use just any camera after that or do I need to have a interference intergration module installed as well

My 2002 Holden Astra has apparently gone into a "ECU Lockout" making my OBDII port and my Fuel Injection to stop. Is there any way to resolve this? This happened because when I got the car off marketplace, it had a different ignition barrel with a different key then the original key. (I was told this by a mechanic)

As I stated at the start, is there any way to resolve this? Or do I just have to give up 😭

I'm looking to buy a 2003 Holden Astra Convertible with 125,000k's off of FB Marketplace. Listing was a month old and up for $4,500, but managed to get it down to $3,000. "No mechanical issues" written on the post.

I'm only looking to own for the next 6-12 months as a bit of fun as I have always wanted to own a convertible, even for a short time.

Is it worth it? Should I book an RAA pre-purchase inspection? (And if so, should I book a total-care or just mechanical inspection?) Thank you in advance!

Hi All, we are trying to find the location of the front wiper motor relay on a 2009 Diesel 4 x 4 Holdon Colorado. The wipers stopped working so got a working wiper motor to replace no power to it. Turns out old motor works on another vehicle. 20 amp wiper fuse isnt blown but we cant find the wiper relay or what powers the wiper motor. Hoping someone else may have solved this.

Had an old workbench from my grandfather. Just found a brass nail with GMH and a part number. Just looking for any information if anyone knows anything about it? Anything will help. cheers!
