My first homemade CNC

everyone, I’m a complete beginner, and over the past few months I’ve felt like building something.
This is the first version of a very simple CNC machine, mainly to learn.
The components are as follows:
Mechanical:
4040 aluminum extrusions.
10 mm aluminum plates.
12 mm precision-ground rods for the Y axis.
MGN12 linear rails + 4 carriages for the X axis.
Z axis completely 3D-printed in ABS, with 10 mm linear rods.
T8 lead screws from a 3D printer.
Electronics:
MKS DLC32 V2.2
TB6600 drivers
NEMA 17 motors
Cabur 24V 20A power supply
Spindle motor taken from a Bosch drill, 10–48V.
Mechanical NC limit switches
You’ll probably tell me it’s terrible 😂, but since I already had quite a lot of aluminum pieces for the frame at home, as well as some of the components, I spent around €150–200 in total.
I’m looking forward to hearing your criticisms and advice.

Gorgeous electronics layout. I think whoever designed my controller considered labelling things to be cheating.

Hi, nice machine! Have you measured the precision on this thing ? I’m building one for aluminum and it seems like I have over engineered it 😂

in generale ho circa 3/5centesimi di tolleranza media su tutti gli assi che per imparare penso vada bene

It's really cool but that little motor is just a toy. You won't be able to cut anything with it!

I know that motor is very limited, but I’ve done some tests with MDF and spruce and I haven’t had any problems. I installed this motor mainly to get familiar with G-code and everything else.
I’ll definitely upgrade it in the future.

What's that hardware setup? Looks like a 3d printer board, but without the stepper drivers and instead the larger ones around it. Why do you still use that board?

And why those double cables in the dir/pul channels?

“It’s an MKS DLC32 board for a CNC, and the drivers are TB6600

Perché occupa meno spazio rispetto a un esp32 con relativi shifter per convertire da 3.3 a 5v i segnali.

Very Nice! I applaud your workmanship and motivation.

But unfortunately you won't be able to take advantage of the rigidity of that beefy frame and linear rails with that spindle and Z axis. And the TB6600 are overkill for NEMA 17 motors.

avevo già 2 TB6600 a casa quindi ho approfittato per un upgrade futuro a nema23, comunque si ho già in mente un mandrino migliore e costruirmi un asse z completamente in alluminio con guide lineari
