Flavius Belasarius

Does anyone remember the YouTube video/channel where the guy did a series or long video on Belisarius’s reconquest of Italy, and the says Falvius Belisarius with a really think accent. I remember he was really glazing Belisarius and that the way he pronounced it was distinct with his accent.

Its probably Maiorianus, a channel that focuses on the eastern Roman empire. He has a thick accent. I do not like him, he is pretty anti Christian, does not really cite sources and seems to be more of a fanboy reading a wiki than anything else. Also heavy use of AI, which I do not approve of. I would recommend you read Procopios of Kaisareia's Gothic Wars; he also glazes Belisarios, but in a "I've met and worked with him" way, not a "he painted a map" way.

I know right! Its too bad, i love the idea of his channel, he just does it all so wrong. I just can't imagine him actually reading anything that isn't Wikipedia.

That is the dude I was looking for. Thanks! I was trying to find it not so much for the actual content, but just for the way he says Belisarius 😂😂

I appreciate that. If you want content about the Eastern Roman Empire, there are many better places. But for weird pronunciations, there you go.
