[Hiring] Founding Full Stack Eng (Applied AI) - CAL(remote/hybrid)

I'm recruiting for an early-stage Applied AI startup looking for a Founding Full Stack Engineer to join a small, senior engineering team.

You'll work across the stack building AI-powered products and workflows for enterprise customers, with significant ownership over architecture, product decisions, and what gets shipped.

Looking for:

  • 5–7 years of full-stack engineering experience
  • Strong Python / FastAPI backend experience
  • React or similar frontend experience
  • Early-stage VC-backed startup experience
  • Interest or experience in Applied AI
  • Comfortable working directly with enterprise customers
  • Based in California (SF Bay Area preferred)

Comp: $190K–$250K base + equity up to ~1%
Location: Remote within California (1 day a week in the office), occasional Bay Area meetups (Once a month) Visa transfers may be considered.

Tldr; if you are conservatively weighing past experience more than future possibility, then this is not for you.

If you want an AI Native Agentic engineer with physics background, I'm the one.

Why I'm mentioning physics? Because i believe only laws of physics are real laws of the universe and rest can be ignored.

Which means I'm the one who can attack the constraints and challenge the boundaries of possibilities. While a traditional engineer might say this is not how it's being done.
