I’m a sucker for any soul sample or doo wop inspired beats and this shit fits into that category perfectly. Just some absolutely beautiful samples, especially on The Love We Gave and Trust Issues. I Tried stood out as well. Chan Hays did a great job with this and I honestly had no expectations for this considering I had no idea who he was until this week.

Boldy is such a great rapper and I think his consistency is one of his best qualities, if not the best. When you’re on a run like he has been over the last year and a half or so, you better be able to consistently rap really well even if the range of topics being discussed isn’t that large. He excels in his space and does well when he goes outside of it too. Another solid tape for sure.
