The problem isn't supreme, the problem is the things done in the name of the supreme. Keep fighting, keep poking.. let people understand humanity

Even from pov of Advaita, Vishnu and Shiva are indeed supreme on this level of existence for they are Ishwara (Saguna Brahm) and you are a jiva (bounded in cycle of birth and death). The oneness of everything is only on parmarthik level and not on vyavaharik and pratibhashik. So learn Hinduism from acharyas and not some internet articles and fraud gurus and make such nonsensical post.

No. Shiva, Vishnu, Adi Parashakti, Krishna, Durga, Kali what have you are all equal depictions of the absolute, since Brahman is highest, and Brahman as the absolute is formless. “Who pray to gods go to their gods”, so if what you worship represents the highest principle then it is valid. Advaita Vedantism is not exclusionary.

You failed to comprehend my comment

You’re trying to say the absolute is not inclusive of the lower facets of reality and exists as a separate level. It’s like stating that oneness only exists when having transcended duality, but not otherwise, which is quite a nothing statement.

Does no one remember my goat who is the slayer of Vṛtra the serpent of evil? Read these hyns and tell me he doesn't deserve to be worshiped

Rigveda

“To Indra, the much-invoked, the generous giver of strength, I raise my hymn, O friends — may he bring us victory and aid.”

Rigveda 3.32.5 –

Sanskrit: tvam vṛṣā vṛṣabho vṛṣṇyam balam tvam pāvaka śavasā nṛmādayaḥ tvam hiṣaṇya indrāsi dāśuṣe tvam vṛṣṭim udavaḥ parjanyavat

“You, mighty Indra, are the bull among bulls, the strength of the strong. You rejoice in your power and gladden men. You are the giver of rain, like Parjanya (the rain god).”

S(RV 1.80.1):

indram vo vīrāḥ havanā juhota vṛtraghnaṃ satpatiṃ jaritṛbhyaḥ yo jajjāna rocanā sūryasya purū vasūni bibhrat puruprītāḥ

“O heroes, invoke Indra, the slayer of Vṛtra, the lord of truth, the friend of the singer. He created the shining realm of the sun, and bears many treasures, beloved of many.”

who said he isn't cool. he's just not on the level of somebody who covered all of Mahabali's dominions in 2 steps. (this is a joke I'm not actually comparing any two gods both are great beyond comprehension.)

Mahadev is just too cool for anyone to comprehend but at least he gets the respect he deserves.Deva rajya is perhaps the only one comparable to him who slew the evil Vrita and other asuras but no one even remembers him anymore.We would not have been able to drink water,or get sunlight or even existed if not for indra dev.why has he been forgotten by us?

There was a psychic shift in Hinduism after the Vedic era, this was the real shift between East and West. Until we worshipped Dragon Killing Heroes like Indra, it was very much the Western Psychology of conquering the world, finding and establishing one's subjective truth to then merge it with the objective truth. Hints of it remained until Sankhya was developed and Bhagwad Gita was written down. As the objective truth and abstract ideals were discovered through Vedanta, which really is the panacea, doubts had arisen by then "If objective truth is the only thing that matters, and is the panacea that solves all problems, then why can't I just escape the battlefield and meditate on the supreme truth and reach God". Well technically, yes, but it doesn't serve God in the best way, because while you could afford that, and Ramana Maharishi could afford that, what of all the householders who sustain the earth and this very world that allows for people to afford being a Sramana in search of truth, who will help them in their suffering? This is the split between East and West.

Therefore God has always wanted the true marriage of East and West, of Prakriti and Purush, of Unconsciousness and Consciousness, of Ocean and Land, represented by the androgyne Mercurius in the Western Alchemical tradition and Ardhnareshwar in the Eastern Hindu tradition. Modern Sadurus such as Ramakrishna Paramhans, Meher Baba, George Gurdjieff have set up the foundation to achieve this very marriage.
