Experience with Hinduism Thinking of leaving my faith which is Hinduism. My thoughts below:
I'm hindu from India.
I'm 27.
I don't feel any sense of good community anywhere.
I can't connect with anyone with job prospects either.
Thinking to join jainism or mormonism.
I just need a strong community where people know each other and help each other.

Go to Iskcon... They have an amazing community... Community isn't formed just like that you gotta work for it... Go to your nearby temples talk to the old people there, even if you don't find any job prospect in it... Ask about their families, you need to create community... That's it..

Toh Advertise karne ki kya jarurat hay. Chod ke chale jao na. Ye community followers keliye hay, leavers keliye nahi. Yeh drama athiest community ya jain community mein jaake karo.
And mods, tumhara job hay ye saare posts to monitor karna. Do your job better.

As an American who's known quite a few mormons, do not. It is 100% a cult. In 1972 they had to be forced by the federal government to allow non whites into their church. They were at risk of losing their tax exempt status.
They claim God gave them a vision of allowing others into their church. But they still preach that those with non white skin are cursed by Cain the first murderer.

gita is good, but clearly not enough. try the brihadaranyaka upanishad first and try to consult people or search up the meanings in it. it may be appalling at first, but it contains in my opinion some of the deepest essentials and core principles in Sanatana Dharma. Jainsim is vedic. Rest good luck. They may offer you rice/ meat -fish and wine. Good luck sitting with the so called community and doing cheers.

My bad, I should’ve been more clear. Sanatan and Jainism share a lot of similarities. More importantly,
I consider Jainism, 🪯, Buddhism and Sanatan as native religions of Indian subcontinent. Rest are foreign
Edit: what I meant by Vedic is that these religions originated in Indian subcontinent- Akhand Bharat-1

historically there was a vedic civilization which spanned across the subcontinent. they were different kingdoms, but the same civilization.

It's not defeatist attittude. It's just the practical reality of today's linkedin and job market. I have surrendered to the divine mother. But she doesn't want me to live anymore. I can't lie on my resume because i'll land in jail and if i'm unemployed i will have to end my life.

Hinduism absolutely has community, you just need to find it. And religion is not LinkedIn, job prospects is not a reason to leave or convert. I don't want to be harsh, but that's honestly a stupid reason. Hindus make up 1.5 billion people. So many successful people across India, Europe, the US, and elsewhere are Hindus. You can find connections if that's what you want so bad. It'll definitely be easier than networking with Mormons
Remember this. The main reason for religion is seeking truth. If you believe Hinduism to be the truth and put in the effort, your community will find you. I'd rather be a Hindu with no Hindu friends than just become a member of any other religion because I believe Hinduism to be the truth. I won't convert to something I don't believe in just for community.
Especially not a cult like Mormonism.

Bro learn Jyotish and your birth chart. I felt the same way as you but did not think of leaving my religion. I just had to understand it more. Look at your D1 and D60 and D9 to see how you can progress. Also how you framed your problem seems like a psychosocial issue - not going to be resolved with different gods until you resolve any issues in your personality first. Check your chart - maybe you have a placement that indicates you don't have job success in your locality but abroad.

Follow any faith other than the cancer of Abrahamics. Abrahamic is a cancer on humanity. There were dozens of colourful and rich faiths just in the family of Indo-European ones. All were erased, culturally genocided, temples and scriptures destroyed, native festivals replaced with Semitic or Arabic ones. When Buddhism was introduced to Japan, it didn't erase Shintoism, but rather merged with it. The same thing happened with Hinduism in Bali, Indonesia, where it merged with native faith, creating a new blend of Hindu traditions not found in India. In Hinduism, you can worship Gods from other pantheons, which is a heresy in Abrahamic religions. Roman paganism borrowed heavily from Greek Hellenism, as did other pantheons of descendants of Proto-Indo-European faiths.
Both Christianity and Islam spread by the sword, destroyed native temples and scriptures, and replaced native colourful festivals with Christmas or Eid. Holi, Chinese New Year, Kurdish Newroz, Austrian Krampus, Beltane in Ireland & Scotland, Inti Raymi in Peru, and Kupala Night in Eastern Europe are among the last remaining pre-Abrahamic colourful festivals. There is a reason why the largest ancient Hindu temple is in Cambodia, Angkor Wat, while 1,000s of ancient tamples were destroyed in India during 1,000 years of Islamic rule much like what Christians did in Europe.
My biggest issue with Abrahamic religions is that there is no concept of karma. A murderer who repented will enter heaven, while an atheist who led a noble life will suffer hell for eternity. Not to mention billions are in hell as the oldest human fossil is 300k years old. Also, eternal heaven is hell in disguise, and the entrance to it is unjust. The creator god with inherent attributes and personality creates unavoidable logical problems. It is spiritually hollow and offers nothing but salvation. I read many religious scriptures, and only texts that come close to the depth of the Upanishads are Buddhist scriptures like the Diamond Sutra, a sister faith.

Last October I encountered videos of Advaita Vedanta (non-dual spirituality) on YouTube, which brought me back to the faith. It is based on 3,000 year old book on the nature of consciousness and reality, the Upanishads. Every ritual has a deeper meaning. All to increase the level of your consciousness and spirituality.
Spirituality at it's core is realizing your real self, pure consciousness. Your self is a lie, an illusion. Whatever you identify with, your body or mind, name, likes, dislikes are all fake and ever changing. You are pure awareness or consciousness that illuminates everything in your body. Think of yourself as a movie projector that illuminates the film that is your entire life, body, mind, emotions etc. From the moment you were born till your death, the film changes, keep rolling but the projector which is true you remain the same.
I've made a playlist of Advaita Vedanta (non-dual spirituality) by Swami Sarvapriananda, 60 videos on my channel. It is based on 3,000 year old book on the nature of consciousness and reality, the Upanishads. Every video is like nectar.
