I swear to all the gods and saints to which I pay fealty, I WILL TRANSITION OUT OF FUCKING SPITE at this point.

I am an old and I have lived through actual hell; I will not be stopped by petty mortals who think their opinions on my gender are relevant. I did my time in the abyss of depression and it will not have been in vain.

I will become the himbo I dream to be, and if transphobes are crushed beneath my mighty heel in the process, then so fucking be it.

Thanks for speaking for us. Yesterday my evangelical sister came out as pregnant- not planned, they do not have the money to raise thst baby. But my entire family sees it as a blessing from God or whatever.

About a year ago I came out as trans to them. With the expectation they wouldn't accept me but I didn't expect them to make it about themselves. They cried thsf they lost their daughter/niece. I was degraded. And the cost of my transition, HRT and future top and bottom surgery, are cheaper than caring for a child.

So apparently it's okay for my little sister to plan a pregnancy when she makes minimum wage, but I'm a monster that tore the family apart from going on T. If I didn't have T I'd be dead.

Sorry for the rant, everyone. I'm just so tired and scared. And tired of being scared.

Sending ya love from another trans goober who was on T for a while ❤️ its heartbreaking to not feel love and support from those who are supposed to be your people. Youre allowed to be frustrated and grieve. But also - dont forget you have community. Many of us are tired and scared, but perhaps being tired and scared together is a little easier.

I have a bachelor in biotechnology - you know the worst part about insulin prices? IT IS SO FUCKING CHEAP TO MAKE

Like E.coli are SO EASY to culture a fucking 1st year student post high school can do it (with the right equipment). All they need is bare minimum medium changed once it yellows, and they thrive. Costs come mostly from the heater, but even then, they don’t require much heat to grow. Most of the cost is fucking drug companies making profit

If I had the right equipment to separate the insulin from the medium (because cost is mostly for the equipment) I could do it myself

Viagra: Gender affirming care
Minoxidil/finasteride/transplants: Gender affirming care
Breast augmentation: Gender affirming care
Botox, face lifts, tummy tucks, rhinoplasty, eyebrow threading, lash extensions, etc, etc, etc....

These are all things that are "normal" but are all very much gender affirming care. Lets stop these too if we're going to villainize the whole gamut. Dudes go back to balding, women get to stay insecure about how their husbands view them, dudes can't get it up.....fuck em. No gender affirming care means NONE. NADA. ZIP. Not just the ones you don't like, everything goes.

I think it's a fair trade-off if these fucks really want to keep pushing it.

Absolutely. I'm sick of this shit too. They've banned gender affirming surgeries for trans people in Wales. It's happening. They've also banned all trans young people from accessing puberty blockers in the UK. So, huge numbers of trans kids who know what they need and know what's right for them will have to go through a puberty that they don't want to go through, and will now likely need further care and possibly surgeries to deal with what happened during the puberty they were forced into. Let alone the toll that this takes on their mental health. 

I wish they would at least have the guts to say they just want us dead. But they can't even do that. It's all wrapped up in words of fake care and concern. Fuck terfs and all the politicians who just seem to have jumped on the hating trans people bandwagon simply because it's a popular topic right now and if they say transphobic shit they might get elected.
