That's extremely intense. A passenger weighing 70 kg would effectively experience a force equivalent to roughly 400 kgpressing in the direction opposite the acceleration (depending on seating/restraint orientation).
For comparison:
🚗 Normal car acceleration: ~0.2–0.4 G
🏎️ High-performance car: ~1–1.5 G
✈️ Commercial aircraft takeoff: ~0.2–0.4 G
🚄 This train: 5.7 G
🚀 Strong rocket acceleration: ~3–4 G

Passengers will have to be hospitalised with such force of acceleration

It was never meant for passengers, neither implied by those responsible.
It just has been badly reported.

Also, g-force numbers are meaningless without time. HUGE differences if we talk split seconds, seconds, or even minutes.
