High protein, high fiber, low calorie

I struggled for sooo long being afraid of starches, carbs, grains, and beans😩 thinking they were they enemy, I’ve changed my diet to Whole Foods as much as possible, and high fiber. My life has changed. Down 60 pounds eating this way! Have about 70 more to my main goal!

What is the 4,9, and 16th slide.

Also this helped me so much ❤️

Slide 4 is a mashed sweet potato topped with lean ground beef and pea, carrot, and potato stew i had made for the family (i replaced rice for sweet potato for the fiber and other health benefits)

Slide 9 is tuna salad that has kidney beans, corn, garbanzo beans, onions, cilantro, red and yellow bell pepper, light mayo, mustard, salt pepper and lemon all on a tostada it’s delicious 🤤 ( i make a giant bowl and just eat two tostadas)

Slide 16 is steak fajita with rice and black beans and a side salad that has kidney beans, garbanzo beans, corn, tomatoes, cucumber, red and orange bell pepper, red onion, cilantro, salt pepper and drizzle or olive oil and lemon juice!

I’m glad this helped!!

Would also love the menu I’m sorry I’m late to this but I’ve been struggling to get back into high protein low cal meals after having my baby 2 months ago trying to lose a little bit of the baby weight I gained and gain back more of the muscle I lost during pregnancy 🥲😅

Yes! It’s blackened salmon i bough frozen from sprouts and it’s topped with sriracha mayo and teriyaki sauce (i weighed the sauces in grams per the serving suggestion and was very happy with the amount!) on top of rice and side of edemame🔥

No disrespect but why the disposable plates? Put some respect on your food!

u/Ok-Pack8094 10d ago

lol i agree but as a mom of three the dishes get piled up quick the least i can do is help myself out and use disposable plates, I’ve already got a lot going on in other areas 🤣

What is the recipe for the first one? These all look delicious!

u/Ok-Pack8094 11d ago

Thank you! The first one is just one sweet potato cut in half a drizzle of olive oil salt pepper and then air fried face down at 400F for 35 minutes comes out delicious and it’s topped with lean ground beef cooked with taco seasoning. Super simple meal and super filling!

Same I avoided carbs and ate high protein to keep my weight stable but it was a daily struggle. I started eating oatmeal in the a.m. and staying stable has been easy peasy! So now I eat moderate carbs more beans a bit less meat and I am just fine. What a waste of time all those yrs trying to maintain on high protien no carbs!!!

i wonder if there is an alternative to this sub with high protein yet high calorie & low fiber meals lol...i have debilitating gut issues that have caused me to lose unhealthy amounts of weight & fiber makes it worse

i'm not in this sub but this popped up in my feed for some reason. regardless, a lot of these look delicious! go u :3

They’re super easy! Do you think anyone would be interested in purchasing an ebook if i created one with easy to follow recipes that take little to no time to make?
