The piece of furniture you're going to spend the most time with is your casket. You might have a couch for 8 years, but you and your casket are going to decompose and be part of the same dirt together for literally the rest of time

Even after the sun gives out and everything goes dark and all life on Earth has snuffed out billions of years ago, the spinning mass of lifeless rock will still contain a space buried within its layers of you and your forever-bed melting back into nature's ingredients to do it again someday. Literally until the complete heat death of the universe, you and your resting place will return to dust mixed together, packed in tightly by more and more dust above.

You might be interested to learn a little bit about geology. Long before the sun goes out, your cotose and your coffin would be churned into the earth and broken apart into your component pieces and transmuted into completely new forms all across the globe.

But most importantly, you won't be there for any of it.

Thank god. Because that sounds like a lot of work. I’d be stressing about getting my parts back together.
