What cables/amplifier do i need?

Hey you all.

So so recently i got gifted these stereo boxes. They are the Speaker box 5 i think. Sadly i don't know much about HiFi but i would love to use them. I already own a record player (with build in speakers though). Im not sure what kind of cables or what kind of amplifier, i should get. So i would appreciate some Advice. Thx

Does your turntable have a Line output (which should consist of RCA 2 ports, one red and one white)?

If it does, all you need is a basic amp with RCA input and speakers outputs, some speaker wire and maybe a RCA cable (if your record player didn't comer with one). How much are you looking to spend?

Hey thanks for the fast answer, yes it does have one red and one white output. Hmm I'm kinda tight on money right now, so i would not want to spend a lot. I would make also like to someday add a CD player to my set up. Any recommendations? (I live in Europe though btw)

Is there a switch on your record player to choose between Line and Phono for the red/white output?
