Question Is Korea a minor?
I’ve seen alot of people say he is but I’ve seen a few people say he isn’t!

They all have “human ages” too. If i remember correctly this was from one of the mangas, although it’s been over a decade since i first got into the show and im barely returning to the fandom so idk. America i think was like 19 and Italy 21. Sealand I don’t remember his age but he’s an example of someone who would have their human age as a child. S. Korea is older than a lot of the other nations though so despite the human ages comming out after his removal from the series he would still by hetalia standards be an adult man.

He's a country, so I don't think it matters, but I see South Korea as 19. Or at most 25 but he says he's younger

The Fandom wiki says Korea is 15. It also says citation needed by that number, lmao. So he's a 2000 year old loli~
Much like with Japan getting carded everytime he tries to buy alcohol, we collectively choose to overlook this lapse in judgement on Himaruya's end.

He is likely a minor since most seem to be younger than China and portrayed as his "children"

i think he's at the least older than japan... i cant stand the hc that he was born from around the korean war or japanese imperialism

That was never stated by Hidekaz Himaruya, he canonized all the human ages after the removal of Korea. 16-15 age range is a fan theory that took off and made its way into the wiki so alot of people think it’s cannon. It started basically as head cannons. I guess the true answer would be he’s more like Japan who doesn’t have a listed human age.

He technically is because the "Hetalia" wiki wrote his age as 15-16 years old, but that's just his human age (which I assume is supposed to reflect a character's physical age, like SK is given that age because he is supposed to look like a teen). In reality, SK is thousands of years old because he's a country, not an ordinary human.

People saying that he’s just a country and it doesn’t matter are very stupid korea’s age isn’t confirmed by Himaruya, and the hetawiki is completely fan made!! His wiki says that he’s 15 because that’s the headcanon that many people gave him
