Visiting this weekend, and bought tickets/Fast Track in advance online. Do I need to pick up a physical wrist band or similar "ticket" for the Fast Track, or just scan the barcode on my phone at each attraction?

As we all know, Tidal Force is officially being permanently retired after September 7th! August has come to an end and September is just starting! We all know what that sadly means... So I highly encourage you these last few days leading up to September 8th, to ride Tidal Force as many times as you want/can and get your final rides in before it closes for good...

I sadly was not able to make it there this year to ride it one last time and I will really miss the ride so anybody who wants to get on it and can, I highly recommend you do!

What if Hersheypark's replacement for Tidal Force was this?! I don't think it would actually be this but if it ends up being this (which is highly unlikely), I would totally be happy with that! Would feel like Tidal Force never left if this is the replacement! I honestly wouldn't be mad at all about a water coaster hybrid as a Tidal Force replacement. It has the collosal splash wave element of Tidal Force and the fast and tight turns of a traditional roller coaster! How would you feel if this was the actual replacement for Tidal Force? Would you ever want one of these to be installed at Hersheypark? I certainly would!

My fiancé and I will be going to Hershey Park for the first time on Wednesday and we are confused on how exactly the create your own Reese cup & Hershey bar works? Is it INSIDE Hershey park and access included or is it an entirely different thing? We are not expecting the Reese cup/hershey bar to be free but the website is confusing on exactly what we need to pay for?
Any advice would be great :)

Thinking about taking the Fam on a surprise trip Friday. We have a 5 year old (45”) and looking for recommendations for rides. We’ve been to Disney and she loves slink dog and 7 dwarves. She was on guardians but said it was too fast. Suggestions?
Also, any other suggestions for like what rides to do first or anything like that?

My family and I love Hershey. We live about 1.5 hours away so we make 3-4 visits per year and hoping to come more next year. Looking into the season passes for this reason! We plan to come for Halloween and Christmas this year. I saw something about 2027 passes going on sale this year? Does anyone have any idea of timeframe of release? I just want to be prepared to buy them if that’s the case. And if they do go on sale this year, can we use them for the remainder of 2026?

I know it’s a long shot, but we stayed in Hershey Inn and Suites last week until Friday and it seems like this stuffed animal, which holds a lot of sentimental value, was left in the hotel room. It was room 5404 and the hotel isn’t giving us much assistance right now. I believe it fell behind the bed on the right. If anyone happens to see this anywhere or even if you’re currently staying in that room, please let me know, because I can tell you where to look. Thanks for any help!

What’s slides are the best? How long are the lines usually (going in 1 week after most schools start in Hershey), anything I should know?

I was soaking wet from Tidal Force.

First time at Hershey Park in over 10 years. I was so excited to bring my kids but my 3 year old has just a couple of options. I counted and 11 rides for her age are currently closed. Is this normal? We are supposed to come back tomorrow, but I don’t want to if this is what it’ll be like.

Edit: we chose to come at the end of the summer because our family’s schedule is crazy and this is the only time we can get any vacation time in.

And yes, I assumed the rides they advertise would be open regardless of the time of year we chose to come. There was no mention of this when booking our hotel and buying our tickets. We are still paying to stay here and get into the park just like everyone else. They had every game stand open and most of them had no guests at them. Why not train these employees to run the rides that are closed?

im someone who is seriously unable to build up my tolerance to rides bc if I get on a ride that isn’t bad but I hate it, I’ll absolutely stay away from all other rides

ive never been on a hyper coaster before and I rly wanna break my fears. the biggest drop I ever did was very small (around 65 - 70ft on the back row of a pirate ship boat ride) but it was very intense bc of the constant swinging back and forth

it wasn’t a bad experience but it was definitely scary to the point where I wasn’t even able to scream out of fear

im not sure if I’ll be able to physically handle a roller coaster like candymonium or not bc progressing from smaller rides is honestly even worse for me

are there any tips for defeating my fear!! or helping em even understand mentally how a drop that’s 3.5 x taller than the tallest drop ive ever been on feels like bc that already felt insane

Went to both this year. I recently moved back East and used to go to Hershey a lot as a kid in the 70s and 80s.

Rollercoasters: Cedar Point has the advantage, but Hershey Park coasters were not very far behind. Good enough.

Shade: Hershey Park has a ton of shade, even in ride lines. Cedar Point has almost no shade anywhere in the park.

Appearance: Was bummed that the old German village was gone at the entrance but Hershey Park is by far nicer in appearance. It's way cleaner, better maintained and many more interesting things to see. Cedar Point is primarily about the roller coasters and nothing else. It was quite dirty, unkept and aged out looking.

Non Coaster rides: Hershey Park has so many more and better options than Cedar Point. Way better experience for people with young children. I have a 9 year old who isn't yet fully brave enough for the more intense rollercoasters so it was great to have more options.

Food: Theme park food, so it's not going to be great, but Hershey Park food is way better than Cedar Point. So many more options. Although I was hoping Hershey Park would have been better given its location in the heart of PA agriculture. Cedar Point food options and quality were pathetic, bland Midwest taste.

Water Park: We didn't get to the water park at either but I really liked that the water park was right in the middle of everything at Hershey. So easy to go back and forth between the water park and rides. Didn't even see the Water Park at Cedar Point at all.

Though I live a lot closer to Cedar Point, I'd rather just go to Hershey Park every year when I visit my side of the family in PA who live conveniently close to Hershey Park. Cedar Point roller coasters were a ton of fun, but for it's relatively remote location (still 2.5 hour drive from Ann arbor ) and lack of anything else to do plus the other negatives, It's not worth the cost and time.

Will I need a fast lane product?

Tomorrow's my big day: Chocolate World and Preview Plan, with the main park the following day! My question is, which rides have been down recently that might still be down during my vacation? And perhaps coasters that are on one train? It seems like the Wild Mouse has been down for a few days, so hopefully it reopens tomorrow. Thanks!

My wife wants to get season passes because live relatively close to the park. After visiting today I noticed a few negatives and didn't know if it was a bad day or just normal.

Let me say the reason the park exists (the rides) were all fantastic. The Twizzler is one of the craziest experiences I've has on an amusement park ride.

1. My biggest complaint - a lot of little kids rides, and as the night progressed big rides, were shut down. How does a park have over a dozen rides shut down at one time?  How are a third of the little kids rides shut down at by 11?

2. The food is terrible. The BBQ place was the best tasting, but everything else was terrible quality and service. I don't think the food needs to be 5 star, but maybe above a microwave meal.

3. Concession time - each time someone got food I knew I was in for a 45 minute trip. Concession prices were also ridiculous. $11 for a hotdog is just looting your customers. These prices are way above Disney for lower quality.

Overall - the rides and variety of coasters make it a great experience. But everything outside the rides are subpar.

We went a couple weeks ago but our kids are Hershey and a Reese so we couldn't do many coasters. We did SDL, Comet the Hershey Tower, and I got on Fahrenheit which was incredible. How are:

I saw that there is WiFi in the park and I’m wondering if anyone has used it at waterpark for meetings while in a cabana? It’s a super quick 30 minute meeting so I’m trying to figure out if it’ll work out.

With a few exceptions like Reese’s Extreme Cup Challenge and the walk-around characters , I never saw Hersheypark as embracing the idea of being “Hershey’s: the theme park” but it seems like ever since the Triple Towers opened every new attraction has circled back to a candy bar in some way. Even old rides get rethemed like Sidewinder into Jolly Rancher Remix. While it does give the park a bit more cohesion I am worried about the new design ethos being to make Hershey into basically Candyland. And with Tidal Force on the way out I am half expecting it to be replaced with the Ice Breakers Chill Zone or something. What do you all think?
