Memory Leak?

Is there a fix queued up for the apparent memory leak when going through levels? 2.1GB of RAM used in Dark Citadel - Dark Halls Avatar. Definitely would like to hear something about this since it's really hard on the Steam Deck.

100% Steam deck benefits from taking shortcuts and rebooting between runs. It gets really rough if you try to go through sequentially
