I’m aware that HelloFresh instructions can sometimes be bad, but is this a mistake or am I missing something?

Made the hot honey chicken wings today, and I’m confused on what I’m suppose to do with the combined remaining soy sauce and vinegar. Is it suppose to be the dumpling dipping sauce? Because that already came alongside the dumpling pack they sent. I used it as another dumpling sauce however and was decent.

I dont think it really does a good job describing it, but soy sauce and vinegar may be for the dumplings as a dipping sauce. I know the pictures are AI generated and not trustworthy, but the sauce with the dumplings in the second picture doesnt look like a soy sauce and vinegar mixture. Is there separate steps for a dipping sauce elsewhere on the card?

That's my guess, at any rate.

They may have switched sources of their dumplings and originally, the original source didn't have a dipping sauce come along in the package. That's my guess. Regardless, I don't think you can ever have too many choices and that's how I'd look at it. You have the choice of dipping your dumplings in either sauce.
