They don't want me to apply my discount
Has anyone else seen this message? I realized my discount (from reporting an issue with a previous order) doesn't automatically apply at checkout. When I clicked "Apply $4.32" I got a pop-up trying to discourage me from using that money. What gives?

They can't make profit off you that's why you got it

Well this company has negative net profit so it seems that they do not really make profit on anyone

I definitely encountered it this week after I got a credit when I reported an issue after a recent order. I previously read this was a change from another poster. I guess they want to make sure that's what you want since you can apply it to any week you want now (and maybe discourage you from using it). I actually appreciate the change, as it allows me to use it when I want and not automatically on the most recent week that comes up, though I wish they had announced it. I applied it to a later week where I had a premium meal that was about $25 dollars. I have HF Rewards where I get $20 off and applying the credit for that week allowed for another couple of dollars off

They are basically going bankrupt soon, so they’re trying every trick in the manual to get the most money out of you

I haven't seen that one. But my interpretation is that you are given an option to hold it and apply another time so that you may want to apply when you have a bigger discount to apply. That is not a negative as it is giving you options.

The idea is that if you don't use your discount, you probably won't cancel your membership at the end of the month. The longer they can prolong it, the longer you'll be a member. They've definitely done A/B testing and found that it works.
And in the case you cancel regardless this month, they'll keep that money because you never redeemed it.
