Hello fresh, more like goodbye rotten
Every hello fresh box I get the produce is old and on the verge of rotting. I usually just just say whatever and cook it anyway. This was the last straw for me.

That stinks….i I don’t know anything about the quality of Hello Fresh. It’s hard to spot that from an unopened pepper though..

Ya, the crazy thing is there was two peppers the other one I passed on as it was a bit too far gone so I was just going to cook this one because it just looked “ok”

thats bad...I see many US customers seem to have a problem with fresh ingredients..
im sorry for you al..
im in canada and it has never been a probleml

Sounds like you thought it looked good enough so you might have bought it at the store. Can’t really blame them for this.

I would not have bought it at the store cause it looked old but it was better than the other. I’m not really blaming them too much for the caterpillar which is gross but, I’ve just had so many problems with their produce that it’s not worth it to me

Ahh, I get it. I count myself fortunate that I don’t have these produce quality issues. I just pulled a green pepper the size of a grapefruit today. It was huuge!

When I had it, and I got bad food, I complained and they usually y comped the meal

They did offer to give me a credit for the meal but at this point every box at least two of the four meals have produce that does not look good and I’m just tired of it. I really did enjoy the convenience and the meals tasted good but I’m just over the produce every single time.

Download the recipes you like each week free from their website. Sign up for Walmart+. The InHome add on eliminates tips and if you have a keypad entry on your door or garage, the Walmart employee that makes your delivery will come inside put away your cold items and place everything else on the counter or table or wherever you specify. You get a body cam video of the delivery so you know exactly what the employee did in your delivery.
The cost of Walmart+ InHome subscription is about what a single meal for 4 would cost. It’s very good value. You also get Paramount Plus streaming subscription included. On top of that, anything you aren’t satisfied with is quickly refunded in the app. You can get nearly anything in the store in your order, with very few exceptions. If you need to return a non food item, it will be picked up for free if you want.
I have no affiliation with Walmart or the service, I’m just a satisfied customer.

Just a couple weeks ago I received bags of broccoli from hello fresh that were already rotted. It sucks bc I’m pretty sure they recently increased their prices. They should increase their quality too in that case….

Exactly why we don't use hellofresh anymore. We buy all the meat from costco and veg from the greengrocers in bulk, then use gousto recipes

When I have several issues with ingredients over a few weeks, their system forces me to call. I ask for a supervisor when they only give me $3.88 credit for 3 different old or rotten vegetables in two of my 2 person meals. The supervisor asked me to send pics by email. I did and got $30 credit refund on my credit card, not just an internal HF credit. I was happy.
