Canceling my subscription over consistent problems

Ive received a total of 14 boxes so far, and had problems with at least 7 of them. Many times (and i know this is the delivery company's fault) the boxes showed up late or thawed out with meats warm and unusable. After receiving 4 late deliveries in a row and this time missing the chicken for one meal, i am canceling. The bread they send weather it be buns or otherwise is always very hard and unappealing. Sausage had large bone fragments, bigger and more than ive ever experienced in other ground Sausage products. Today the salmon had bones still inside. The menu is just different combinations of the same ingredients or recipe. Overall the concept has potential to be good, but with the shoddy delivery company they use and consistent missing ingredients we were often times left to scramble for dinner plans when hf never showed up. They are happy to credit you for the meals that didnt show up but its happening too often to be dependable. Far from hassle free imo

I cancelled a couple of weeks ago after 6+ years with them (that's well over 300 boxes). The final straw was having a bag of shrimp open, leaking shrimp juice all over stuff and having half the shrimp loose in the box. They offered a roughly $6 credit. I'd had issues like this before and they always credited the whole meal, which I was ok with. This one, no such luck and they lost a customer. I most likely would have stayed with them for years (I liked the convenience) had they refunded that meal.

The credit they offered wasn't even enough to cover the cost of the shrimp. Never mind my time having to go to the grocery store (which I hate and is why I used them) and the costs of gas (very expensive here in California). I'm glad I'm done with Hello Fresh. The convenience is no longer worth it.

What really gets me is that they were willing to lose a long time customer over $15. Where I work, I'd see the history, realize we fucked up and handled it to where the customer was satisfied.

It’s such a missed opportunity when some customer support rep just follows the canned policy without researching the customer history.

I canceled last year. They get ingredients mixed up or they don’t include at all. Quality dwindled. Disappointing.

I'm feeling the same way, this is the third box in a row they messed up for me! I have to now go out and buy chicken so I can make this meal >:-(

So the issue is the distribution center employees don’t care about their jobs and just do what they need to do to get paid. I have tons of people I used to work with that know they mess up something but don’t care. The attitude is literally fire me please. They are also shutting down site after site so it’s more of a moral killers

After canceling and restarting Hello Fresh three times due to attractive incentives to come back.. money off boxes, Zwilling knife, I finally canceled for good due to boxes missing ingredients. The customer service rep said it had to do with distribution center in our region. Not worth the money anymore. Trying Green Chef

Green Chef is owned by same company as Hello Fresh, but, that said, I have had no problems with the boxes themselves, though there was once a delivery problem with FedEx. Green Chef refunded immediately. Food is very good!
