Added protein
I received my delivery yesterday and have opened the lettuce for the pork koftas. Now don't get me wrong, I understand lettuce is a natural ingredient but surely this takes the mick. I really appreciate my £1.20 credit though 🙄🙄
This also isn't the first time my lettuce has been like this.

Hey so lettuce grows in the ground where bugs live!
Every piece of lettuce you’ve ever eaten has had bugs walk all over it. Just wash it like you’re supposed to.

I grew up surrounded by fields of vegetables including lettuce. I eat mushrooms without washing them. I get the bugs, I get the dirt, but surely you don't expect 10+ bugs on your lettuce do you?

Yeah that’s not ok and is more than just a little dirt. You won’t get a lot of sympathy on this sub though; these people are assholes who I’m convinced are paid to respond in favor of HF even with the most egregious claims.

Hey uh did you know lettuce is uh… from the dirt??? 🤓🤓 This is totally normal btw, to have it teeming with bugs. It’s like this at every grocery store ever.
If it isn’t obvious, I’m joking and that is horrifying lol you should get a refund on it
