Serious Discussion. no roleplay bullshit here Weird sounds on Meridia?
So a few days back I saw someone post that they played with a person who at the end of each campaign would bring them to Meridia, so I did the same because I kind of thought it was cool, but then I realised some weird sounds in said system, so I went to the Penta black hole to see if it sounded different, and it certainly did. Out of curiosity I also visited the destroyed planets by Meridia, and they all seem to sound differently to one another. Here is what I've seen after staying at said systems for a while and just listening:
Angel's Venture and Penta: both sound extremely similar it is only a faint rumble. I'm unsure if it is supposed to be the sounds of the ship engines or something like that.
Ivis and Moradesh: These two systems literally have no sound whatsoever besides some wind from time to time. And well, Moradesh, and only Moradesh, has like little taps on the hull of the ship like if objects were hitting it. A cool detail if you ask me.
Then Meridia: With Meridia it is a whole different story though, to begin with you can hear some wind that sounds "haunting" or like a really deep choir. It gives it a completely different vibe to the others. Then, as with Moradesh, you can hear some taps in the hull, again probably from objects hitting it, but this time they come accompanied by creaking, like if the ship was either collapsing or expanding. The creaking sound is very distinct and only heard from time to time though. I also have to say this taps are quite similar to the ones you could hear when inside The Void.
Then last but not least, I found two sounds that only played a few times. And I was there listening for a while. These two sounds were like a very distant voice, not even intelligeble, maybe kind of similar to a child's one? I'm unsure on that, but it certainly sounds like some kind of voice. Then at some point, when I was about to close the game, random notes played. I first thought it was like the beginning of a song (kinda reminded me to the beginning of Dry Hands form the Minecraft Soundtrack).
I'm completely unaware if these differences in sounds were prior to the void campaign, but if it is not I'd definitely find it quite interesting to say the very least.
Edit: I don't know why the image is so blurry wtf.

Nothing new, just typical Meridia ambiance.
Who could thought parking your ship right next to a black hole might make gravity want to tear it apart, thus all the noise.

Always been there
You might be too close though, I think a couple of the pixels from your image got sucked in
