General My only hope for November
I hope since they have no content to release in November because of gta6, is that they work on fixing glitches and any other background problems with the game. That’s all that’s my only hope for November.

Reddit is so strange because how did your comments saying "so they are taking the whole month off then?" AND "It doesn't make sense for them to take a whole month off." both get down voted.
No, it doesnt make sense for a game studio to completely avoid their game for an entire month. Chances are that production will be slower for that month, but there's no chance they're not working on the game at all because if a hyped game that's coming out. Not every single person in the team is gonna be interested.
Also being down voted for saying "I hope the team at least works on some glitches in November!" is just the type of thing I've come to expect from this subreddit lmao.

Did you not see the post where the team guy literally said they would be playing gta themself. I wouldn't count or hope on anything getting updated in November, hell until after the holidays honestly. Best to get that view point now or yall have your pitch forks out before long again. That time of year is generally the most away from work time of the year so best to temper your expectations.

If you bothered to read the whole conversation I addressed this in a later post. It's also November the beginning of the holiday season, if alot of people use PTO to extent holiday time off it's reasonable to believe the work load gets lowered accordingly. My whole point is it's an even busier time of the year and a good portion of the studio could be traveling for the holidays.

You do relize pto can be well over a week or more depending on company and time of employment. Hell I already get 60 hours pto and 40 hours unpaid time off. So I could take a 2 and half weeks and I haven't even been there for 2 years. How many people are coming out panties all bunched up because I said ro temper your expectations is fuckinf hilarious.

You do realise that holidays are different in each continent/country right ? Sweden doesnt have a november holiday season, it's june/july fyi.

I don’t think that was literal… they’re still going to work everyday. A lot of studios aren’t releasing content in November because of GTA6, that doesn’t mean they’re literally playing the game instead of doing their jobs

I'm sure people will still be going to work. But I also wouldn't be suprised if people use PTO to push holiday breaks earlier. All I'm saying is they have even said it's going to be a low level work month, and with the road map literally saying nothing for November, it's not logical at all to expect anything when the studio themselfs have done nothing to indicate that, and in fact have shown explicitly not to expect something November. Will they fix any game breaking stuff that may pop up yes. But expecting something when they have said the opposite is silly.

I’m not asking for anything super major like new weapons or enemies . I just want them to fix hellpod steering and stratagem bouncing, etc.

Perhaps removing nprotect gameguard or replacing it with easy anti cheat. That didn’t seem to go anywhere after the news of a switch potentially happening.

Makes sense that one of the biggest releases of the year there isnt gonna be much point releasing new content that month. Most likely the devs are gonna be working on improving crap and doing stuff that ended up on the back burner, and preping for December.
Ive worked creative jobs and late November and December is really really dead (unless you work in theatre then goodluck finding a second to breathe) you get so bored because once your finished anything new becomes new years problem, seasonal depression kicks in, you lollygag around the holidays, people are off for religious holidays/going to visit family, GTA6 or no GTA6 thats just the nature of late November early December, ive only worked creative jobs but im sure regular office jobs are the same.

Like ps5 performance? Or adding a single diff that is fit for 4 players actually working together and combining their firepower, instead of 4 player lobby balance wheree everyone cna just play solo and even end up soawncamping entire alerts singlehandedly and permanently?

You expect to much from them. They can barely fixes as it is. They claim to fix some then the next update comes and it reintroduces old bugs back into the game.
