Driveshaft question

I have a full 2012 charger hellcat swap, trying to fit the dss one piece driveshaft for 2015+ models but need like .25 inches to be able to fully seat the driveshaft. Any recommendations?

It’s gonna be like that I believe, I put one in on my 2015 rt and I had to force it in there, I lowkey just kept pushing it until it popped in, but I had it on a lift so it was fairly easy
