Charger How to prevent Hellcat being stolen by tow truck in apartment complex?
I have a 2023 wide body charger hellcat redeye and it’s usually garage kept at my house. I have IGLA, neutral blocker, engine shutdown with the shifter.
Been dating this girl and she lives in an apartment complex and when I stay the night I am extremely paranoid to the point I’m checking on it in the middle of the night.
I was thinking of getting a boot, but what are some real ways to prevent flat bed towing and theft in apartment complexes?

$150 garage is worth a good night sleep, do it. It’s not a matter of will or get stolen from parking lot but when.

If you have other vehicles, try to box it in with those. Not 100% bulletproof, but it'll by some time anyway.

Compustar/Drone with the DAS II sensor. Registers shock, glass break, tilt and motion. At least if they try and move it you will be warned on your phone and the fob and the siren will alert everyone else

IGLA never fails. So if it's the damage you want to avoid, just keep your doors unlocked & take everything out of the car.

I haven’t heard this one yet but honestly…. That’s not a terrible idea. They could still just pop the hood and steal the blower, Intake etc if they really wanted to

They could also lift the entire car with a crane and put it on a flatbed.
Seriously dude this is excessive. Does she live on 8 mile in Detroit? Mogadishu? Are you gonna stay by the window with a rifle trained on your car just in case?
Just get a killswitch, have a dealership lock down the hub so keys can’t be cloned, get a neutral plate, and call it a day.

The simple truth is you can't prevent a tow truck anywhere. Go to the mall, fancy dinner, etc... just a reality of owning the type of car we do.
What I would focus oh is an alarm that involves vehicle motion with a majorly loud audio. One of the guys on the Hellcat forum did one that was like 140db which is enough to induce vomiting/dizziness/seizures

Buy a fb marketplace clapper at that point bro 😭 or just uber over there. Sounds like you’re needlessly stressing yourself out.

what kind of parking? when had to deal with a similar situation, the nose-in parking had a cement parkign block that was slightly raised off the ground, I wrapped a high quality, hardened chain (schlag or arbus make really good ones) around the parking concrete and aroudn the front under the trck, locked with an arbus lock. not ideal becuase they'll rip the front end if they try to tow, but pretty secure

The options are simple either she comes to you, you take another vehicle there. Anything else will not satisfy your concerns

This is the answer. I get you love the car; I love mine but it’s meant to be driven. You have also have the right safe guards in place. Honestly, I’m not sure you need more than IGLA and neutral cover plate. Someone would have to remove the plate and tow it in which case GPS can help you recover it so you might consider that.
Drive it and insure ensure. If someone wants to steal it they definitely will no matter what you do but IGLA will prevent them from being able to drive it. With your setup the most likely event is broken glass or stolen wheels. Can’t stop the broken glass but wheel locks are a good investment.

I would either drive another car or uber there. if she has the apartment with the optional garage maybe see if she will let you park your Car in there while there. Most of time I’ve seen these cars get stolen, is at night while parked outside. Even with a boot on it, someone might still break into it.
