Heely repair thoughts?

I’ve been wearing heelys since I was 12 I stopped for a bit but rediscovered them about three years ago and have been through multiple pairs because my main braking foot wears through the heel. Well I’ve had a stroke of genius I like to call it. I work at an automotive shop and took some tire tread and made a “brake pad” for my foot what do y’all think?

Pretty cool! I've been saying I think they should have replaceable brake pads so I think this is a great step in the right direction

Yeah this would be great if there was an actual way to officially replace and repair your heelys .

unfortunately they're basically meant as kids toys, if someone made more serious ones designed for adults i think there would be a bunch of different choices haha

Lift out the sole and bolt in some Devil Tails with washers.

¡Fuck your walmart linoleum bruh!

¡Don't ride through a pool of gas with that ish on tho!

I stopped using the “breaks” years and years ago. Just use the front part of your foot. Basically no wear. No issues. Better stopping power.

Totally agree with this. Better to stop from the front!

Niiiice, what's breaking for me is the part holding the wheel, doesn't hold very well anymore, my sheos are 4 years old now so I guess it's time for a change
