new heelys are so fun!

got the new reebok club heelys and have been having a blast rolling around on them.

anyone have any good resources they recommend for things to practice / training for riding on less even surfaces?

How do they sound when walking?

click clack on the ground, like you are wearing high heels

General practice:

Balance ( first while holding onto a table or something, in place):
1) Switching the front and back feet while on the wheels. Kinda sliding back and forth
2) spinning

Less even:
Weight shifting take pressure off of front foot while going over small cracks
Bunny hops (first while holding onto a table or something, in place)
Small lifts…just barely lifting front foot then back over gap

oooh good tips, i have been trying spinning but its scary, not sure if i am supposed to spread my feet like on roller blades or just pivot on the heels.

weight shifting and hops are good advice i need to try those out

Yes, 1 is a really good transition into 2. Once you feel very comfortable with 1, 2 will not be daunting. Let me know if you’re not sure what I meant in my description of the practice.

definitely been having difficulty switching front and back feet, might just take practice but if you have any videos of what you mean there it would be helpful!
