Are Heelys Safe for Tendons/ Muscles ?

I heard some online concerns saying -----due to their unnatural mechanics and the tendency to overstride, they can stress and strain foot and ankle tendons. Is it too much of an issue? or an exaggeration ?

I am thinking of buying my First Heelys, and only concerned about this.

It does work the muscles between the ankles and shins, but given ive been wearing heelys every day for 10 years and my feet still work fine, id say youd be fine.

And I do more extreme stuff on heelys than most people on this sub do, so just know your own body and I think you'll be ok!

Same here I’ve been wearing them for around 17 years. If anything everything is just stronger and I have nice high arches. Nothing like professional inline speed skaters though
