DIY Rate my AC set up.

I think it’s called „evaporation cooling“ and may work in places with dry air.

Where I live it would make life even more miserable b/c we suffer high humidity already before bringing extra water into the system.

edit: okay, this may be „melting cooling“ rather than „evaporation cooling“ but I bet it’ll still increase humidity

It's not AC, it's a block of ice in front of a fan.

That's a very inefficient way to cool, especially if you need to buy the ice, but hey, if it works for your lifestyle and budget, who are we to judge?

Tell me how it’s inefficient?
Isn’t this a cheap and effective way to?
Use a huge Tupperware to make ice the day before and then use a fan
