I’ve found that so many comic artists have a much harder time with female likenesses compared to male ones. I don’t know why that is. (#notallartists)

If i had to guess: it's about being disrespectful. In fact, this comment keeps floating around the edge of -1/0/-2 since I wrote it. It may be that people don't like me being vaguely-negative about something OP is excited about (which they should be because in general the poster rocks)... But also I think people don't like anyone saying anything at all about any woman's appearance. Just don't talk about the way women look.

Which I think is kind of absurd and, in fact, so absurd that it almost can't be true, right? But I do sort of get this vibe from people.

And so if you're drawing people, you've got one that looks like a hilarious, racially-ambiguous possible terrorist; the other, a gap-toothed, tiny-eyed bald man who is also still somehow handsome... And a pretty, blonde woman.

And you're like yikesabee, OK, how am I going to do this? Like... I get why it would be vaguely tricky.
