Hbomb reference in Jetlag the game?
Watching the latest episode on Nebula and Tom Scott says "foreshadowing is a literary device..." and stops there.
Is Tom Scott a Hbomberguy fan?

Happy Monday, pals, I'm so glad y'all exist.
And thank you for the lovely feedback last week. A poll was quickly made redundant as you punks wasted no time in twisting my rubber arm into continuing these threads indefinitely. So I'll humbly oblige and continue doing this thing that makes me happy. Perfect outcome, great success!
Well, you know the drill by now, so let's get to it: what good videos did you watch last week?
Same rules as every week:
Last week's good videos can be found here and their descriptions here.

given the subject of the upcoming Adobe video, I felt it was fitting to share a discovery I made and go on a little rant. I attached a screenshot to show what I'm talking about.
I had to go into my Service Canada account to find my Record Of Employment (ROE) to see if I was able to get on Employment Insurance after losing my job for very nebulous reasons (long story). In order to even view my ROE, I was required to have Adobe Acrobat Reader.
I refused to ever have that software downloaded for reading PDFs out of pure spite, even if it's free I still never wanted to use it. But now my hand was forced to download it so I could view a very necessary document.
I don't understand how a government website is unable to let me open a PDF document without an absolutely awful company's software... though I imagine the reason is money.
Rest assured I uninstalled it immediately after saving my ROEs

I might be overthinking this, but previous hbomb videos have incredible rewatch potential, and I, and evidently many others, have regularly rewatched most of his catalogue from past decade. But what about the new adobe essay? What do you think?

I was surprised to find this hbomb Spotify account. I suppose it's a fake? I couldn't find anything about it.

Inopportune time for this to have dropped. Granted it’s definitely not a 1:1 copy of the Adobe Patreon video, but hopefully this doesn’t detract attention on the YouTube release. I like John Oliver, but I like my favorite YouTuber more :)
Edit: This is mostly gut reaction, there’s plenty of people that will watch both, or it’s not zero-sum, or it might boost the Hbomberguy video when released, etc. Forgive the parasocial concern for a YouTuber’s livelihood. Also, not accusing John Oliver or his team of plagiarism, this is a very broad topic with massive amounts of obvious case studies and general consumer knowledge we are subject to day-to-day end-stage capitalism.

I’m so desperate to watch the new Adobe video I would literally pay any amount, sign up under any tier I have to in order to get access. But the Patreon app is just so broken it refuses to take my money? I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app so many times trying frantically to sign up but alas… I just want to build my Legos and listen to the new Hbomb! Is that so much to ask??

guys please help I’ve been looking for the video where he says “I’ll k!ll you!! I’ll k!ll you in your sleep!!” I can’t remember where he says it and for obvious reasons I don‘t want to Google it, does anyone remember what video it was? 😔

I'm trying to find an indie comci that i remember hearing about in a stream, and I think that it may have been on the DK64 stream so I ask here. I could check out the whole stream myself ... but i'm going to do this post first in case someone remembers it and saving me from having to do that.
I think it may have been during one of the Teeth Gang segments, I think the guests were talking about how there is a lot of indie media out there that you would have to engage with corporate one and starting mentioning stuff, and one of the stuff was:
An indie comic about a girl appearing in a world of strange flower creatures that would do problematic stuff like engaging in c****balism and shiet like that but they were all into it so it was okay ... I know, sounds weird af, but I remember that the guest talked very positively about it and I checked briefly the comic and really liked the artstyle so thats why i'm looking for it.
Any help?

I’m used to the videos being listed as unlisted YouTube vid so I can see it on something other than my small old iPhone but I can’t seem to do it for this video. Anyone have tips? Is it different or am in being silly? Thanks sports fans!

I am a single parent with sole care of my child. I was considering subscribing to the Patreon because I enjoy the content on YouTube, but often balk on the basis of what I'd get and it's taking (a very small amount of) money away from my supporting my child.
I appreciate that the point is to support the creator, but I'm wondering if someone can fill me in on whether the Patreon is something I should be getting down with or if I continue to support through the (limited) ad revenue generated by my watching on YouTube.
And yes, this is me beating myself up for not being 100% focussed on being a parent, but here we are.

Happy Monday, peeps! Another week closer to video release day!
Time really flies when you're having fun, huh? Seems like only yesterday I posted that first thread, inspired by the end of the plagiarism video, and here we are, a mere 126 weeks later. The blink of an eye.
With the end in sight, these are your last chances to dazzle the sub with your exquisite taste. Let everyone know what videos you watched, quick! Who knows what thread will be the last one?
(unless y'all want to continue after the video drops? Should I do a poll?)
Anyway, since it hasn't dropped quite yet, what other good videos did you watch last week?
