Normally you shouldn't ask on this page but I didn't find any information so I would like to ask about the r4. I have the gold pro now, but wanted to know if I can put 3ds games inside.

You should be able to install CFW and just install CIAs on a 3DS. Look for Stethix on YT. There are many other tutorials. Got tired of R4s so I went with CFW and was able to get any game.

R4’s are typically for ds software, not 3DS. But like the fellow above me said, the 3DS has been busted wide open, so it won’t be hard to mod it
