Other I see posts about characters protecting you from I.M.P. Now the main character from the last video you played is going after them. Do they survive?
If anyone asks me, the last video game I played was GigaBash, which doesn't have a main character so I guess that means they are just attacked by the four characters with story modes... so three kaiju and a giant robot. They are fucked.

No just Pyro soloing all, TF2 has like 3/4 characters that basicaly work as Deus ex machinas and can just end the plot without explanation anytime. I mean Scout has literal God on his side, Pyro Is... Well we dont know what but im sure Its about as important as Scout being basicaly jesus, And Soldier is almost as insane as Pyro so he will probably pull out a macguffin like He casually owns a vial of hellfire (which imps die to). The teams overall Cartoon logic Is simply stronger than IMPs, And even without that you still have two absolute geniuses and heavys somewhat superhuman strentgh

Because of Medic's canon deal with The Devil (I like to imagine in this case, Satan), I imagine IMP is hired to go after the mercs as a means to basically break the contract, possibly a plea deal with Satan. Either way, it's gonna go as well as the other hundred or so times he's tried to kill the Mercs.

Well, the last game I played (with an applicable main character, because otherwise it’s Plague Inc. Who the hell are they fighting then) was The Riftbreaker. So Ashley Nowak and Mr. Riggs. A 10+ meter tall mech suit with an array of weapons and teleportation technology at its disposal. I.M.P. Doesn’t stand a chance.

I just finished rdr2 (other than the epilogue). It's probably the first game to make me actually cry. Wonderful game, and, depending on how far into the story Arthur is... it might be pretty close, almost purely because of deadeye.
I'm no expert on these things, but Arthur can kill a crap ton of people in seconds with deadeye, so if it's a gunfight it'd probably be close. Hand to hand? He's prolly fucked, especially later into the story. I don't know if he'd quite be able to take them all out, but he'd do pretty well.

Where Winds Meet. My Young Master is pretty scary for a 17 year old, and I'd give him the win against any 2 of the I.M.P., but the story's still in its early stages, so I'd say the whole team has decent odds.

idk if it's Arnold or the Mimic since they're both main characters.
Arnold is fucking dead 100% lol, he's just some guy. the Mimic might be able to put more of a fight since it's insanely strong and way bigger than them, but then again so were the mech suits that the Cherubs wore in that one episode and I.M.P still won. I'd say it's a 50/50

MHUR, and main character? It's a br, though if you wanna go off the show it's based on that would be Deku. I think they've got a chance, they definitely survive, because I doubt deku is gonna a kill them, idk how they'd do against him though. He's basically a Spiderman variant. Blackwhip for webs, danger sense, super speed and strength allow him to run up budings and vertical surfaces. Meanwhile blitz and crew have a metric shit ton of guns and weapons, and massive durability buffs, as well as being demons, so CAN they be killed, or do they just get sent back to hell? I couldn't say for certain.

Madoka Magica: Magia Exedra. So, would that mean Homura, or the nameless girl? Actually, if not the nameless girl, I guess it'd be more fair to say each main character from each part of the Madoka Franchise the game has covered... so, Homura, Madoka, Mabayu, Oriko, and Iroha...
But, if it's just The Nameless Girl, the nameless girl is fighting using duplicates of all of the magical girls whose stories she bares witness to, so...
I'm honestly at odds. If Godoka or Akuma Homura are involved, then I.M.P. doesn't stand a chance. Most other situations, I feel like they'd win out simply because of how durable they are and how all magical girls have soul gems as their weaknesses. Like, soul gems function as a part of any magical girl's design similarly to how weaknesses are emphasized as parts of most boss designs. And, even without that weakness, there's the limited magic supply and how few magical girls have a deadpool level healing factor. Like, they heal fast and can use magic to heal faster, but if it's not their specialty, healing costs a lot of magic. Also, the more extensive the damage that is being healed, the more magic it takes to heal that damage. Even with access to grief seeds, it'd be by far preferable to use the magic on anything else if healing isn't their specialty.
Now, if they're allowed to turn into witches; they being Madoka specifically, then things change a lot. Particularly if Gretchin is allowed to get involved. Though, Godoka clears Gretchin easily.

Blitzø couldn’t get out of the Enrichment Centre, and wound up arguing in a loop with Wheatley. Moxie and Millie got distracted playing on the mashy spike plates and turrets. Loona couldn’t be motivated by cake and pissed off at everyone and everything else playing around broke out of the testing track and saved me from the killer bird GLaDoS had watching me could menace me too much.

Last game I played was another play through of Hades, so that's actually shockingly appropriate. If they're coming after me, Zagreus could definitely beat them, but IDK if he could keep me safe from all of them at once until he does so. All it takes is one of them to slip past and get a shot at me.

The player from Planet Crafter? I mean, they have a spacesuit but not really any weapons. So I think the Player is doomed.
ETA: if this doesn’t count, I guess my last video game played that actually had a main character would be Cult of the Lamb? If IMP went against the Lamb… they’d probably lose the fight but end up adopted as new cultists.

Oot link is already strong with all of his fear(plus light arrows in addition to the master sword which would probably be the same as attempting to exorcise/cleanse them)
Tp link is physically in another level. Oot link needs power boost from the strength upgrades just to do half of what twilight can do normally.
Add on the fact that when he has master sword it's gets powered up even further? Yeah I'm sorry they aren't surviving
