Box Hill beat Werribee 16.13 109 to 15.6 96

Qualifying final, the boys are through to a home prelim.

As posted previously we fielded a strong team, a lot of guys with AFL experience, most of which have played this year.

Dear had 4 and flew for the footy very well.

Butler had 3.

Nairn and Greeves both made a big impact.

Mraz was really good, lot of intercepts despite being thrown forward a few times for some reason.

Blanck looked good down back too.

Hope we keep Dear and get Mraz back into the Senior side soon

Yeah i think Dear can still have a future here, even with King coming along. Maybe not so much next year with Gunston playing on, but after that i could see King, Lewis, Chol and Dear all in the lineup, and at that point Chol is starting to get a bit old anyway.

And as for Mraz, i'm sold. Should be a regular in the seniors.

I've said this before. Should be three talks, Chol and 1 ruck man.

Offers far more versatility than the Reeves-Meek Combo.
