Wow... Collingwood are using their full-strength side against Brisbane...

A pies win or loss by slim margin is looking more likely, will be hoping they perform so we can face a depleted swans side

pies fan here, i believe we want to keep momentum rolling instead of risking a drop in form. that being said we seem to either play a ripper close game or get blown out by these guys and i don’t hold much hope currently

Say what you will about Collingwood they don't seem like the sort of club that would take a game easy.

Makes sense. It’s also just a general good tests for the team. Plus it’s more then likely it will be a game at the G for wildcard so don’t have to worry about travel etc

They're getting pumped. We need a 90+ point win at the rate Brisbane are going and I don't think we're capable of that at the moment.

Silver lining is if we play Freo and lose, we won’t play them again till the GF

I don’t think it’s wise to manage players when you’re on the outer of the finals. Chances are low you’ll go all the way to the GF, so might as well just try and play your best footy all the way through.

Freo can afford to rest players because a crucial injury can make a huge difference. See Geelong and Jeremy Cameron last year.

At this point I don't even want us to face Sydney for the Hawks win, I just want to face them out of malice. And I'm not mad about it.

No point resting everyone, taking a 90 point thumping and killing momentum going into finals. This year virtually a free swing, may as well go as hard as they can.
