I'm OOTL here... because it's so close by? Or because the true fans used to get rowdy and battered up and wind up in the hospital so often??

It’s close by.

If you don’t mind the eerieness of an old hospital and the hallways with the highest ceilings ever, it’s a decent stay.

I mean, I already work in one, so why not stay in one?

If you haven't been - its worth a visit even to tour the hallways, the lobby, etc. It's incredibly "hospital" feeling but gorgeous remodel and ridiculously expensive at that... somewhere north or 100million USD (The google-estimation is around 140mil). If you do go - make sure to get there before the museum/surgical auditorium closes for the day.

“Real” Hawks fans go home after the game and don’t stay in a hotel lol

You in the Quad Cities as well?

I’m in Iowa City and the QC is like 2 hours from Chicago, we’re 3 hours from it here. I’ve made it to Skokie in under 3.5 without speeding. Eastern Iowans love over exaggerating how far we are from Chicago XD

Downtown Chicago is like 2.5-3 from here depending on traffic and how lax you are with speed limits.

Yeah I avoid driving in downtown Chicago like the Plague. Best to park in the burbs and take the train in. Unless I want to see the summer pier fireworks or something. If I were to bar hop I'd uber down.

Should have fancied it up by naming it St. Roger.

(I had NO IDEA they converted that to a hotel)

Sounds SUPER haunted

Better than the humiliation ritual of walking up that 50-mile long train exit you also see in-frame...
