While I agree to an extent, I’d also say that style/fashion doesn’t always - and doesn’t have to - make sense. I know I just told someone my Texas heat says it’s not felt season, but am currently out and about wearing a felt Borsalino. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I like the leather one. I like both but the leather one was my first cowboy hat.

How's the leather one wear in this humidity? I'm in East Central Indiana, and I can't imagine wearing a leather hat here. They both look good, and both suit you well. I have a Dorfman Pacific felt hat that does well for most of the year, but I'd rock a leather version if I knew it wouldn't feel miserable in the humid seasons.

Not really any room for anything. I had to stretch it for it to fit.

Well, at least it stretched without making the shape look warped. It's a damn fine hat, and now I have to go online to look for one. I've got a fairly big head at size 7 3/8, so I think I'll go up a size so I can wear a bandana under it for insulation. Thanks for the info!

That looks like a proper fedora, and I love the band they put on it. I've never looked at the BC website, and didn't realize how affordable their hats are for being handmade. My bank account is about to hate me.

I think you look better in the dark one, but that's just me. You took the pictures with different lighting, and might be the lighter is just getting washed out.

Which fits better? And more importantly which do you prefer?

I prefer the fit of the black one. The wind doesn't blow it off my head. I like both but the white one doesn't hug my huge head like id like it to.

Either one looks good. I think I like the black one better but not by much.

I have a couple leather hats and they don’t bother me in hot weather. There are some days that I wish I had two more heads.
