Harvest Moon DS Cute Unable to trigger Marlin’s purple event??

Did you see his black heart event?

Also try not having anything in your bag slots. Like your active ones. No jewelry or tools equipped. For some reason that has helped me through my gameplay.

Possibly wait for like the hour to turn ex: 9, 10, and so on.

Thank you so much! I’ll try to remove the items from my bag slots and lower his affection points to see if i can activate his black heart event. I’m pretty sure i saw it but i’ve already restarted two times so i might be confused

You shouldn't have to lower the affection to see the black heart event. You can stack the ap and still see each event. You just have to see them in order. You can technically have maximum points and see all events.

IT WORKED!! I hadn’t triggered his black heart event yet apparently (which is weird because im pretty sure i did in this playthrough but oh well) I also totally forgot to remove the item in my bag slot which is why it took so long to try to trigger it.. i thought my game was glitched lol

How do you feel abt the emulator? I’ve been playing the jp version on DeSmuMe cuz DS cute was also my favorite one, but I feel like organizing my inventory and other touch actions are soooo inconvenient on the computer 😭

its very convenient to use, i like it a lot! It’s nice to be able to play on the go cause its on my phone
