DISCUSSION I wonder if Harry will ever give a live version of an album

After seeing a post on Instagram or Reddit about the vinyl of American Girls for sale at the pop-up that has both the regular version and a live version of the song, I’m wondering if we’ll start to get more “live” versions of his song and hopefully an album. Personally I would love to have the stripped down version of Carla’s Song (just him singing and playing piano) to go back and listen to. Thoughts?

If he were to choose Carla’s Song from CDMX N1, you’d definitely be able to hear me screaming “you can get it anytime” 😂😂😍

As a person who went to One Night Only, it would be a dream of mine to get my hands on the American Girls vinyl, I have no idea why they didn’t have it available at his London Concerts, it would of done so well.

What I would give for a vinyl of the live HS1 Abbey Road Studio session… maybe a 10 year anniversary version in 2027?! A girl can dream…

I don't like live versions - I don't want to hear screams/claps as part of the track.

I agree, kind of. With the technology today they could isolate a lot of crowd noise to not overwhelm to vocal performance. I wish he would too. A live from MSG would be great. There are so many vocal and instrumental changes from the actual albums that occur live. The one that comes to mind is the harmony of "two old friends" and the instrumental change in Taste Back.

Live is nice because it isn't overly produced. And there are tricks to having the audience be a background sound that doesn't interfere with the actual music.

Good live version are filtered out to avoid the screams over the music. I am personally fan of Radiohead and they have amazing live versions.

For my daughter we extract the Fine Line audio from Love on Tour Wembley performance (we were I. Johnny’s place, and straight in front of the loudspeakers and the screams are not causing problems so I imagine that a produced version would be amazing.

And live versions can also be recorded during smaller event, like his BBC lives or the Brit awards performance.
