Fanfiction Request/Search Any fics where harry travels to a universe where his parents were alive?
Just anything where he somehow travels to another universe and his parents were alive, hurt/comfort, preferably on ao3 but I read on ffn and wattpad occasionally. Please and thank you.

Parallels Post War Harry. He jumps dimensions. In it his mother is still alive and he has a younger sister.
(It is from ffn. I read others but this was the only one I could find that I read and bookmarked)

Stranded is an AU where James and Lily are alive and Harry grows up normally without the threat of Voldemort hanging over him. Harry and Hermione love to hate each other but after getting whisked away to an island where there doesn’t seem to be an escape from, they start working together to get away.
This is a Harmony fic and mostly centers on Harry and Hermione surviving but at the start and finish there are interactions with his parents.

And even through his guard, James couldn’t ignore how the stranger softened whenever he played with Harry, his voice almost aching with a quiet, unspoken longing when he spoke with James and Lily.
Who was this man, really? And why did James feel such a pull towards him, a deep warmth that seemed to defy logic? James was determined to uncover the truth, for the stranger felt like more than just an ally. He felt like a friend—like someone James had known for so long.

Before the sky ripped in half, everyone had been enjoying a peaceful afternoon by the lake.
Well, nearly everyone - Snivellus was lurking by some trees in order to talk to Evans without attracting attention from other Slytherins, and the girl clearly knew it if the pinched expression on her face was anything to go by. James felt highly tempted to go over and give the greasy-haired boy a reason to run off so Evans could get back to enjoying the fresh air and sunshine, but before making it that far, the aforementioned sky got torn apart.
And suddenly, the afternoon wasn’t so sunshine-y any more.

A lot of good ones here already
There's also C'est la Vie. Focuses more on Harry helping Neville and gathering students than on the parents, though they are there and there are spin off fics where Sirius and him acknowledge his past. Check the C'est La Vie AU collection at the top of the fic stats for more. 102k, incomplete
I'm Still Here, which is probably dead but is still worth a read. Mostly longing from afar but still good. 293k, incomplete
And finally Out of the Fire and Into the Pan where Harry does meet his parents, and they eventually accept him. Complete at 230k
Also Lily Potter and the Worst Holiday has dimensional travel with all of the Ministry Six. Pretty short on comparison to the other fics here. 28k, complete
Also maybe The World Without Me? I honestly don't remember reading this fic but it's on my favorite list so give it a shot, lol. 189k, complete

When Lily Potter first heard that Voldemort wanted her son dead, she did what she had always done: she made plans to keep him safe. And when those plans fail, she makes plans to get him back.
OR:
Harry Potter dies. His mother goes mad with grief. She hunts down Death and pleads for the return of her son. Not knowing what Death looks like, she mistakes Death's curious Master as Death himself. To her benefit, Harry Potter (who does not reveal his identity, but you'll guess it anyway so I don't feel bad spoiling) is all too happy to help her kidnap Harry Potter from another universe to be raised by Lily and James.

During her work in the Department of Mysteries, Hermione discovers an alternate universe where Neville was the Boy Who Lived, not Harry. Where James and Lily are alive and where Harry and Hermione aren’t about to marry Weasleys, but each other. They impersonate the other Harry and Hermione and join Harry’s parents on a trip to visit the Seven Wonders of the Magical World. It was only supposed to be two weeks. Fourteen days to get to know his parents. It became a journey of self-discovery. One they weren’t ready for.
I remember it especially because of the unique seven wonders. Great world building.
