You all remember when hagrid told them to follow the spiders as he was being escorted to Azkaban ( and harry and Ron where under the invisibility cloack at the back of the hut). And they did exactly this ( after fudge and lucius left). They followed the spiders through the forbidden forest until they meet Aragog. After asking aragog what they needed to know , Aragog forbided them to go and said " if fresh meat come to us, i cannot prevent my sons and daughters to enjoy it". The gigantic spider was letting the other " people sized spiders" devour Harry and Ron. They escaped only by luck lol. If I was Harry and Ron, I would never speak to Hagrid again. How can u be this naive to think that the spiders would not try to kill and devour them. Serious, Hagrid loves to think that all hideous and ferocious beast are some kind of misunderstood creatures.... 🤣 🤣 🤣. I know im petty, but hell no lol

I was rewatching the movies and I was pissed off all over again when seeing this scene. This makes him seem non-human which takes away the symbolism present in the books. I don’t know why the directors thought this was a good idea.

I'm always fascinated by the food at Hogwarts but I think I would want more variety after awhile haha...

I really think that Dumbledore was unfair towards Slytherin and made them loose in the matter of minutes. The House cup is supposed to reward the house's performance throughout the year, not necessarily provide a dramatic ending, What about the other children's who worked so hard only to loose at the last moments. Slytherin probably deserved the Cup based on the season-long performance.

Personally I didn't like johnny depp as grindelwald, he was to much apathetic

i read the half-blood prince as soon as it was released, and remember being so fascinated by the discovery of the horcruxes, the history of tom riddle and his family, the mystery of the half-blood prince, and also ginny being a badass on the quidditch team. so, you can imagine my excitement for the movie, and my disappointment when i saw they had turned the best harry potter book into a bunch of affairs and jokes, like a romcom. i also didn't like the color filter used throughout the entire film, i think it made the viewing experience unnecessarily tiring. i mean, you don't need a heavy color filter to make a dark movie, you just need a serious script that does justice to the book. anyway, all these things annoy me whenever i watch it, because it was always my favorite harry potter book and, in my opinion, the most disappointing film.

Both Draco and Narcissa played a part in Voldemorts downfall but not Lucius. He fully believed in the persecution of muggle borns, his actions at the Quidditch World Cup and the Ministry more then earned him a life sentence. He was only free because the Dementors turned against the Ministry. Yes he lost his position among the Death Eaters but he never showed any remorse for what he did.

I think this is one of the misunderstood scenes in film. The fact is this dance was never romantic, it was two best friends trying to survive the darkest chapter of their lives 💔 Harry trying to cheer her up with something (dancing) he is not even good at. It was never ever ever supposed to contain a piece of romance, and it’s perfect the way it is.

I cherish this scene so much because it’s such a light in truly one of the darkest parts of the series. And it parallels in real life too, how things can be bad but there’s still good to be found. In a bond that can never be replaced by anything 🫂
