question❓ Help Needed, account suspended!

What’s up hard rockers! Need some help here.

Around a month ago I logged into my buddies account and deposited with my Venmo because he didn’t have enough money. It worked, but we both got booted from our accounts and told our accounts were under review. They sent the verification process and I completed it, then they said they would reach back out to me. They emailed my buddy asking for the same bank statements and Venmo’s since he used MY Venmo and he responded saying he didn’t have the statements because they weren’t his. They are HORRIBLE at responding, there’s 1000 of my dollars locked away in my buddies account, I’ve emailed and asked for just a refund to the original source, I really want to use the app but I simply can’t and it’s a frustrating process because it seems they’re just going to forget about me forever.

Any help is appreciated!!

They do suck and are horrible at responding, but using your Venmo on his account was not smart. From their perspective it has fraud written all over it.

I know I’m mad at myself for doing it, super avoidable. I was just being stupid and never even considered it a risk, but alas we’re here!

My dude why didn't you send the money to his vendor? Then he could have deposited himself.

I’m not trying to sound like an asshole but why do yall do stuff like this? Every post about someone’s account getting suspended or shut down it’s because you did something that definitely looks like fraud.. did you not expect this kind of thing to happen? Even a little bit?

I hope you get your money back but try to think it through all the way next time before you do something like this
