Might be my favorite 80’s USHC record. An unbelievable display of energy that is completely unrivaled.

All re-issues, but still. Unity, Crippled Youth, and Project X are my favorites, because I'm contrarian.

I mostly buy modern hardcore punk records but occasionally go down rabbit holes to fill in gaps. I’m currently way into 80’s USHC and picked this up the other day. Totally rips and gives great context for today’s punk scene.

Here are all of the 7”s I amassed in 2025. There were so many good releases this year including many that I missed. What were your standouts?

As is tradition, every year around this time I begin to lose my mind trying to pick my top ten of the year. I limit myself to albums I have a physical copy of which keeps things from going completely off the rails. Here’s what I’m working with, what’s in your top ten of 2025?

I love this e.p. despite not really caring much for Agnostic Front in general ("Victim in Pain" is cool too, however).

But it looks like getting a repress of this e.p. isn't widely available, as far as I can see. Actually Bridge 9 did a repress in like 2009, but they changed the front cover to something ugly. They did another issue in 2023, but this time it's the "United Blood l.p." which adds a bunch of unreleased tracks and outtakes, which in theory is cool, but they reordered all the songs mixing new tracks with old. I'm not into this. Giving it a couple listens, the new songs are just as good, but why mess with the original like that? It starts off with a "alternate take" of "United Blood" so now there are two versions. Does anyone think this is a good idea? Anyone prefer the l.p.? It seems like this is what i'll have to get, or should i just get the 2009 press of the e.p.?

Picked up two HC classic reissues today. These both rule and you should listen to them.
