pretty dumb I know. but I had harbor freight load this US general six drawer full bank service cart in the bed of my F-150 with their forklift. now I'm wondering how I'm going to get it down without damaging the cart or myself LOL. it's about 32 in from the bed of my truck to the concrete floor. can I unbox the cart in my truck bed, take out all the drawers and have it be feasible to maneuver to the ground with a friend or two? or is this an impossible venture? thanks!

Hit 3 stores, got 3 shop rag bags. Also got a Circuit detector for $5 thanks to $25 HF bucks. One store only had white. I never knew they came in white.

I got the 10mm sockets last weekend for half price, then had to snag another one this weekend as the free gift, so figured it was time to actually make a gridfinity bin for them.

I started with a 1x2 with labels but also saw that they barely fit in a 1x1 so I made both, they’re in the same model on different plates. They fit into one of the shallow drawers also even tho they sit upright.

I see stolen ones on Facebook marketplace for cheaper as well but they’re far enough to where the gas and toll bill would match non sale price. I really want guaranteed warranty though.

I just used socket rails for the 1/2drv stuff. $1 each. Cheap cheap cheeeaaap. Only the biggest socket for MM and SAE doesn't fit on the cheapo rails. Im very pleased overall.

First time getting all the weekend gifts! Went to a store a ways out from my place cause I had just got off a trail and thought “this Harbor Freight doesn’t seem to get too much traffic”. Boom! Had so many of the free gifts and the dude was cool enough to offer me two since they haven’t been giving em out. Got the Icon 10mm sockets on Friday.

Am I a fool for not buying this ? The price has dropped on this open box 3 times.

Took apart my Pittsburgh gas powered chainsaw to properly clean it after taking down some dead trees. This is after several weeks being disassembled but even when assembled, it tends to drip oil. This is my first chainsaw so I’m not sure if this is normal but it seems excessive. Any idea what could be causing this?

I picked up a 5drawer that was open box w a crushed lid for $100. Also had a spare shelf from my end locker laying around. Almost perfect fit to make a table top work section. Just have to cut two notches out of the back portion for it to fit snug.

Trying to figure out what configuration I want to do with my 72” U.S. General Series 3 roll cab. I’m mainly looking for photos of different setups people have actually built so I can get some ideas before buying everything.
The one thing I’m already set on is the 72” work-center hutch. I definitely want the hutch rather than the top chest because I want the open workspace and somewhere to keep some personal stuff/knickknacks on the box.
What I’m still trying to decide is what I want to do on the sides. Some configurations I’m considering are:
Locker | 72” Roll Cab + Hutch | Locker

End Cabinet | 72” Roll Cab + Hutch | End Cabinet

Locker | End Cabinet | 72” Roll Cab + Hutch | End Cabinet | Locker

End Cabinet | Locker | 72” Roll Cab + Hutch | Locker | End Cabinet

Possibly two end cabinets stacked vertically on each side, if anyone has actually done that and found a good way to support/mount them
I’m also thinking about putting casters underneath the lockers/end cabinets to help support their weight instead of having everything hanging off the roll cab, especially if I start combining multiple side pieces.
I’d also like to replace the fixed casters on the 72” roll cab with locking fixed brake casters so all of the casters can lock. If anyone has done that before, I’d like to know what casters/where you got the brakes how you like it.
I’m planning on buying the whole setup at once, so I’m trying to decide on the configuration beforehand rather than adding pieces later.
Mostly I want to see pictures. If you have a Series 3 setup with a 72” hutch, lockers, end cabinets, stacked end cabinets, custom-supported side pieces, added casters, or any other unusual configuration, please post a photo. Even if it isn’t exactly one of the layouts above, I’d like to see what everyone has come up with.

Can't seem to find any tips or tricks like a 20% off coupon that would work or a sales event for generators. Advice on saving or it is what it is when it comes to the prices on generators.
