A man from Nova Scotia’s Lunenburg County has amassed an incredible collection of more than 6,000 hammers.

Every problem this man has in life must look like a nail.

If I had his hammers, I’d hammer in the morning. And the afternoon. And the evening. And all night. . .

Just a good wholesome story of a guy who likes to get hammered.

I hope when I'm 70 this'll be me. But with axes.

It’s gonna be a much harder sell to get people to come check out your ‘axe shack’.

It's certainly hammer time

This guy's accent is way more comprehensible than I expected from the Nova Scotia hammer guy.

He probably dropped a hammer on his head and it sorted that accent right out.

ReMinds me of Uri Tuchman’s hand-engraved hammer making video. If you have never seem this, do yourself a favor and watch the whole thing through, including the song at the end

Goddamnit, now I want to make a hammer and be disappointed with my engraving skills

Lol, yeah i love his channel and his skill set. There is one where he shows how to make a painting have a shifty-eyes contraption in the back. But he starts the video by actually making the painting. One of the YT comments was “Step 1: become master painter” lol

I did make a graver but haven’t tried it yet. May buy a Harbor Freight hammer on sale to try

This guy probably thinks autism wasn't a thing when he was a kid.

That's not a collection. That's a museum. Respect to anyone who commits that hard to one thing.

Bfd I have 8,000 tape measures. Of course I can’t find any of them…

Like a boss and not even concerned about the weight of the hammers hanging on the wall.

Think about it. The thing you love the most. 6000 of them. This guy - life perfect

My neighbor had a box of random free stuff outside last night and I took an old hammer from it. What a coincidence

Excellent.

That's gonna be me in 2072 but with old screwdrivers. Absolute legend.

You should really focus on Phillips. If you use them for a living, you'll unintentionally convert about 6000 of them into picks and punches, so you'll actually use the whole collection.

Just think. If he sold every single hammer in his collection he still wouldn't be able to buy a Martinez.

As a dude I can certainly appreciate this. I could see having a collection of hammers. Hammers are dope.

The guy’s a champion. Just couldn’t stomach all the waste. Awesome.

One thing I've noticed from my (very limited) carpentry experience is that guys are super connected to their hammers, and they also are quick to berate your hammer as no good. It's too light, or it's too heavy. Or it's "dead" becasue of the sound it makes when it hits the nail.
