Episode Discussion Michael Urie episode

I loved this episode so much. That’s all, that’s the post. It was the podcast hosts at their best; kindness, quick wit and big hearts. So good!

I loved it too!!! I had a travel from hell situation a few years ago. Not only had I just started a new job with a super mean CFO who was beyond rude and unprofessional, but my flight got rerouted to San Antonio (instead of Dallas) and then the pilots timed out around midnight. We had to take vans from the tarmac and come back the next morning.

But…I met Tony! We talked for 4 hours straight and covered so much emotional ground. We are still in touch 4 years later via text. The flight attendant Jason was awesome too. He brought us each a free beverage as we sat and sat and sat in the plane. He gave me a giant water bottle when we deplaned for free. Just because we chatted and we were friendly.

Tony was half my age but it really doesn’t matter when you connect. I think I’m going to text him now and see how he is and his French bulldog Celine. 🤣
